A 21-year-old Liverpool Paedophile, Thomas Kasper, was punished after arranging to meet a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity, according to a British Transport Police investigation.
Thomas Kasper, of Sceptre Road in Liverpool, pleaded guilty to meeting or arranging to meet a child after sexual grooming, sexual communication with a minor, and non-penetrative sexual activity with the kid.
On Wednesday, July 10, he was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months, by Liverpool Crown Court.
He was also required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and received a seven-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
The court heard that on Sunday, May 21, 2016, cops patrolling Liverpool Lime Street station noticed Thomas Kasper kissing and caressing a youngster.
Officers halted the duo and engaged them in discussion, with Thomas Kasper explaining that he was 20 years old and the girl was just 15.
Speaking to detectives separately, Thomas Kasper confessed they were dating but denied any sexual activity had occurred. He was detained for grooming and persuading a youngster to participate in sexual behaviour.
During the questioning, he stated that he knew the child was underage but denied that they had any sexual contact.
Thomas Kasper was released on bail while police investigated his cell phone.
After the examination, officers discovered text exchanges between the two that were definitely sexual in nature.
CCTV photos from the station on the day of his arrest revealed proof of a sexual relationship.
Sergeant Stuart Maw, the investigating officer, stated: “Despite Thomas Kasper’s claims that the relationship was not sexual, his actions on CCTV from the station, as well as the text messages he had sent to the girl, clearly demonstrated otherwise.”
“Our first focus was protecting the child, whom Thomas Kasper had clearly groomed for sexual intentions, as well as gathering evidence to prevent others from falling victim to him.
“Now he has been issued with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order it is hoped Thomas Kasper will steer clear of contacting any underage girls in the future, not least for fear of imprisonment.”
