A Godalming Paedophile, Ryan Stone, has received a three-year prison sentence for employing a fraudulent internet identity to get boys to transmit indecent photographs.

From July to August 2021, Surrey Police received numerous referrals from the National Crime Agency (NCA) regarding a suspect who employed a fraudulent internet identity to groom males aged 11 to 17. The inquiry directed detectives to Ryan Stone, then 18 years old, from Godalming.

Assuming the identity of a young woman named Isabella, Ryan Stone coerced victims throughout the UK to engage in sexual actions and transmit them to him.

He would thereafter document and archive them electronically. The victims were identified as Ryan Stone had created screen recordings that documented their Instagram usernames.

Ryan Stone, aged 21, faced 15 charges, including enticing a minor to participate in sexual activities and producing obscene photos of minors.

On January 3, he received a 36-month prison sentence at Guildford Crown Court.

Detective Constable Connor Leney of Surrey Police’s Paedophile Online Investigation Team stated: “Ryan Stone intentionally groomed children online for his own sexual gratification, disregarding the enduring consequences it may have on them.”

This story exemplifies the necessity of recognising fraudulent profiles and engaging in discussions with youngsters regarding their online interactions.

Detective Constable Leney indicated that warning indications encompass fraudulent profiles, such as the absence of a profile image, solicitations for explicit images, requests for video conversations without revealing their own face, or if your youngster exhibits secrecy over their phone usage.

He implored anybody who suspect grooming activities to report them promptly to law enforcement and the social media company.
