Ryan Brown - Paedophile rapist

A Drongan Paedophile, Ryan Brown, who raped a little girl and sexually molested a boy has been imprisoned for seven years.

Ryan Brown, 35, attacked the ten-year-old child he was caring for at a residence in Drongan, East Ayrshire, between November 2019 and March 2020.

Ryan Brown previously preyed on the kid when he was four to six years old at a derelict railway station in Drongan between April 2011 and 2013.

Ryan Brown is accused of causing his victim to engage in sexual activity.

Ryan Brown, of Drongan, was found guilty by a jury and jailed at the High Court in Glasgow.

Judge Lord Colbeck stated, “You deny the offences and accept no responsibility.”

“I need to judge responsibility in these issues, and I consider blameworthiness at the moment.

“Each time you offended, it was against children under your care, and you were in a position of trust.

“I need to examine the harm you created.

“The girl’s testimony indicates that there was some psychological impairment and suffering that continues to this day.

“There is no way to deal with you other than a lengthy spell in detention.

“This is for punishment and the public’s disapproval of your behaviour.”

It was discovered that Ryan Brown has three non-analogous prior convictions from 2007 and 2008. He has never been jailed or appeared in the High Court.

Gail Gianni, defending, stated during the sentencing that her client maintains his innocence.
