Following an inquiry by the National Crime Agency (NCA), 36-year- Robert Stanley and his 34-year- girlfriend Danielle Schofield were arrested.
Robert Stanley & Danielle Schofield had a video conference in August 2019 in which Schofield physically mistreated and raped an eight-year-old girl.
After Robert Stanley urged and pushed Schofield on, he grabbed screenshots of the abuse for his enjoyment.
Robert Stanley & Danielle Schofield acknowledged organising or supporting the commission of a child sex offence, sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, obtaining pornographic photos of children and sharing them.
Robert Stanley, of Tilbury, was imprisoned for four-and-a-half years; Danielle Schofield, of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, was detained at Bradford Crown Court on Friday for three years and four months.
Last April, NCA detectives started looking after intelligence. Robert Stanley had obtained three Category A – the most severe – child abuse videos.
On April 23, last year, unemployed Robert Stanley was arrested by police at Schofield’s Dewsbury house.
While the inquiry was still underway, he was granted conditional bail.
According to forensic analysis of Robert Stanley’s mobile phone, on May 6, 2019, he emailed Schofield a Category B obscene image of a child.
She was arrested on May 20, 2020. Danielle Schofield was also granted conditional bail throughout the NCA’s ongoing inquiry.
Police found troubling conversations between Robert Stanley & Danielle Schofield concerning child abuse, covering claimed past mistreatment of the youngster and planning future abuse.
Robert Stanley reportedly possessed four Category B pictures on his phone and two screenshots of the video conversation showing Schofield mistreating the eight-year-old daughter.
The NCA reported that officers found and protected the child.

“These were sickening crimes where Robert Stanley & Danielle Schofield had disturbing conversations about their fantasies,” said NCA regional head of investigations Jacque Beer.
The couple were also placed subject to sexual harm prevention orders and instructed to register as lifetime Sex Offenders.
