Two thirty-three-year-olds, Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham, mistreated five children.
A court heard Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham filmed and photographed their victims using their phones, therefore recording their terrible crimes.
Messages exchanged between Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham attacking planners were “some of the most horrible conversations I have seen in my career,” a detective claimed.
Based on a tip-off, police raided the couple’s house on Kendal Street in Dukinfield, Tameside, in April 2018. Officers grabbed a computer and several phones.
After the sexual assault, Keeli Burlinghamsent her boyfriend obscene pictures of the attack.
Police discovered on their phones and computer also videos of earlier assaults Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham conducted.
Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham were discovered to have mistreated five young girls.
Peter Taylor was found guilty of sexual assault of a girl under 13; arranging or facilitating the commission of a sexual offence; taking indecent photographs of a child; making indecent photographs of a child; intentionally encouraging the commission of an offence, believing it to be committed.
On Friday, January 17, he was imprisoned at Minshull Street Crown Court for eighteen years.
Keeli Burlingham was found guilty of sexual assault of a child under thirteen, assault of a child under thirteen by penetration, arranging or facilitating the commission of a sexual offence, taking indecent photographs of a child, and distribution of indecent photographs of a child.
Keeli Burlingham was given a twelve-year sentence.
“Peter Taylor & Keeli Burlingham knew how old their victims were,” said GMP’s Public Protection Unit’s detective chief inspector Judith Holmes. They have no justification whatsoever for their blatantly inappropriate and predatory actions directed on youngsters.
“This couple tormented helpless youngsters with terrible cruelty. Prison is where they belong. Some of the most horrible discussions I have seen in my work came from the two arranging the sexual abuse discovered on their phones.
“I hope the outcome today helps the victims and their families go on from what must have been a very horrific event.”
