Paul Holland Gateshead paedophile

In 2019, a mother who encountered a paedophile, Paul Holland, on a dating application was astounded to discover he was a convicted offender who should not have been in proximity to her daughter.

Paul Holland had been released from jail for only a few weeks after serving time last year when he was apprehended by paedophile hunters while attempting to meet someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

In conjunction with the prison sentence, Paul Holland was prohibited from residing in any household with a female child unless explicitly authorised by social services, as stipulated by a sexual harm prevention order.

He established communication with a woman on Badoo, who had a two-year-old daughter, and scheduled a meeting with her.

Over two consecutive evenings, he visited the location where she resided and spent time with the woman, accompanied by her child.

Paul Holland, previously of Eslington Court, Gateshead, was caught after telling staff at his bail hostel where he had been.

Now he has been jailed for 20 months – the same sentence he got last year – after he admitted two breaches of the sexual harm prevention order.
