Additional information has been solicited from law enforcement about the investigation of an Eskra Paedophile, Mark Boyd, accused of engaging in sexual communication with a minor over an alleged four-month duration.
Mark Boyd (48) of Florence Road, Eskra, is charged with deliberately engaging in correspondence with a female minor for his personal sexual enjoyment on multiple occasions between November 2023 and February of this year.
It is additionally claimed that he possessed an extreme pornographic photograph on March 21 of this year.
A police officer previously informed the Dungannon Magistrates Court that the charges may be interconnected.
No specifics of the circumstances of the purported offences were revealed during the brief hearing, at which Mark Boyd only affirmed his name and acknowledged his comprehension of the charges against him.
During the latest court session, a prosecuting attorney said that additional evidence has been solicited.
Deputy District Judge Philip Mateer detained Mark Boyd on £300 bail and mandated that he refrain from any form of communication with the young complainant.
Mark Boyd is prohibited from engaging in unsupervised contact with any child without prior authorisation from Social Services.
The matter is scheduled to return to court on January 17.
