Lorcan Elliott paedophiles child sex offender - Peterborough

A Peterborough Paedophile Lorcan Elliott lured minors into engaging in sexual activities on the internet and now has been incarcerated.

Lorcan Elliott, a 25-year-old, communicated with 26 individuals between the ages of 13 and 16 using various social media and gaming platforms, such as Snapchat, TikTok, Skype, and KIK, over the years 2022 and 2023.

Lorcan Elliott would meticulously search through internet sites where young individuals shared information about their Snapchat accounts, carefully choosing his targets. His primary objective was to find young boys and add them as contacts.

Lorcan Elliott lured them into posing and engaging in sexual activities by promising to give them hundreds of pounds. He offered to pay them even more if they complied with his requests.

Subsequently, Lorcan Elliott captured photographs of the victims and disseminated them among other victims, insinuating that they would be reimbursed if they replicated the act. He presented the youngsters with receipts for his prior payments to other victims.

One of the victims was a juvenile male with autism who was manipulated into performing a sexual act. In addition, his phone included explicit photographs of youngsters as young as eight years old.

In January 2022, while residing in Cambridge, Lorcan Elliott created a new Dropbox account using a fictitious identity. Subsequently, Lorcan Elliott proceeded to publish three explicit movies involving a minor on the internet.

In May of last year, Lorcan Elliott was apprehended after a police inquiry revealed that he currently resides in Peterborough.

The police searched the residence in Peterborough and confiscated mobile phones, laptops and a gaming tower. During the investigation, they discovered almost 1,200 explicit photos of children, including 142 images that fall into the most severe category of offence.

Lorcan Elliott, of Orton Southgate, Peterborough, was sentenced to four years and eight months at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday. The individual admitted guilt for five charges of producing and disseminating explicit images of minors, as well as eight charges of encouraging sexual behaviour and nine charges of engaging in sexual communication.

PC Alex Cochrane said: “The offences were committed over a sustained period with numerous victims here and abroad, and it is clear Elliott knew they were children because some were wearing their school uniform.

“Although there was no physical contact between the defendant and the victims, this case highlights the potential dangers of online activity with unknown people.

“As a force, we work tirelessly to detect and prosecute these crimes while protecting the vulnerable children involved.”
