Scotland Domestic Abuser Jonathan Rhind has received a nine-year prison sentence following his conviction for domestic violence and sexual offences in the Fife and Perthshire regions.
Jonathan Rhind, 29 years old, perpetrated these offences between February 2020 to January 2022.
He was convicted on two crimes after a trial at the High Court in Glasgow and returns for sentencing on Wednesday, 23 October 2024.
Detective Constable Matthew Ghilotti of the Fife Public Protection Unit said: “Jonathan Rhind is an abusive individual who showed no remorse for his violent and controlling behaviour.
“We acknowledge how difficult these enquiries can be for individuals who have been subjected to domestic or sexual abuse, and I would like to commend the assistance provided during this investigation. I hope this outcome provides those exposed to his abuse, with some sense of closure.
