Following Hull Paedophile Harry Grindley’s conviction at an earlier court appearance of two counts of rape of a child under 13 and one crime of assault by penetration, Harry Grindley was sentenced to sixteen years, with an eleven year minimum term, at Hull Crown Court.
Detective Constable Shaun Chambers, the officer in the case, said: “Harry Grindley is a depraved criminal who targeted two young girls, sexually abusing them for his own filthy sexual enjoyment.
Though these kinds of investigations are usually quite alarming, I hope the fact that Harry Grindley is now off our streets and behind bars provides some comfort that he cannot carry on his horrible atrocities.
