A Bucklebury Paedophile piano instructor, Fiona Carrier, has received a suspended prison term after committing an indecent attack on a child in Goring-on-Thames.
Fiona Carrier, 61 years old, pleaded guilty to one count of indecent assault at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, July 6, and received a sentence of one year and two months in jail, suspended for two years.
She was acquitted of five further charges of indecent assault on the same victim during the same hearing. It follows a week-long trial that occurred last month.
The court was informed that Fiona Carrier, then in her mid-30s, confessed to sexually touching the kid while they were seated on a sofa in her residence and had kissed him many times.
Prosecutors alleged that Fiona Carrier engaged in sexual intercourse with the youngster multiple times at her residence in Goring.
Alongside several of his contemporaries, he frequented the property to perform music.
Fiona Carrier exploited her position of trust as a piano instructor by indecently assaulting a teenage boy at her residence in Goring-on-Thames during the late 1990s.
She instructed music in a £20,000-per-annum private institution in Berkshire – Blue Coat School, Reading.
Fiona Carrier, from Bucklebury, Berkshire, will be listed on the sex offender registry for a duration of 10 years.
She is required to fulfil a maximum of 35 rehabilitation activity days with the probation department and adhere to a restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim.
