A paedophile from Forest Gate, Emmanuel Brown, has been convicted of sexually assaulting girls under the age of 13 at a swimming pool where he served as an instructor.

British sex offender Emmanuel Brown, aged 60, was found guilty of three charges of sexual assault by touching on December 5 following a trial at Wood Green Crown Court.

The court was informed that Emmanuel Brown has conducted lessons at the swimming pool in Northumberland Park since 1995.

Police received separate reports in June and July 2020 from girls, aged under 13 at the time of the assaults, who were taught by Emmanuel Brown.

This was followed by a third girl who also alleged that Emmanuel Brown sexually assaulted her during their lessons.

The abuse of the girls took place between 2010 and 2019.
