It is Xmas 24 and Eastbourne Sexual Assault has reached 1600 followers on our Facebook page (Sexual Offenders) and we wanted to say thank you for all your support.
This is the 3700th Sex Offender listing on our website too.
We started this site to help future victims of sex offenders to be able to search online and check their backgrounds.
Most UK police websites remove any details on sex offenders after 12 months so it is up to us and the other hardworking web sources to ensure that sex offenders do not continue to re-offend in their own name, address and M.O. with impunity. By even visiting sites like our you are showing support and doing your bit to disrupt sex offenders’ long “careers”.
We have received a few requests for us to include a sex offender on the site. You can email us at contact@eastbournesexualassault.com. It is very simple for us to validate any requests as we look for the smallest of mentions of the offender online, in court database, etc. and if we find anything they go up on the site. So don’t just sit with frustration, email us anonymously (set up a fresh online account to email us) and we will look into it. We will get the stick if it all goes tits up as the police are well aware of us and what we do:)
