A Dunster Paedophile predator, Daniel Robinson, who preyed on females in adolescent chat rooms was revealed to be a convicted child rapist during a Scotland Yard sting operation.
Daniel Robinson impersonated a 17-year-old and solicited a 13-year-old girl to engage in self-stimulation and transmit photographs, unaware that he was communicating with an undercover police officer.
He was incarcerated after law enforcement located him at his residence and discovered photographs on his computer of a former victim of his exploitation.
Daniel Robinson, 34 years old, was previously included on the sex offenders’ register for raping a 14-year-old gymnast whom he encountered while employed as a fitness trainer in Taunton in 2006.
He transported the girl to the rural area adjacent to his previous residence in Watchet, where he committed rape and sexual abuse against her. In 2006, he was sentenced to six years in prison at Taunton Crown Court.
Chef Daniel Robinson, of Conygar View, Dunster, confessed to attempting to induce a child to participate in sexual conduct, attempting to engage a kid in sexual correspondence, and producing obscene photos of children.
Daniel Robinson received a two-year prison sentence from Recorder Jonathan Barnes at Exeter Crown Court and was subjected to a sexual harm prevention order that limits his future interactions with youngsters and internet usage.
He stated: “These offences are significantly exacerbated by your prior conviction for rape.” Upon careful deliberation, I am convinced, however reluctantly, that you should not be designated as a dangerous offender.
Mr. Robert Yates, the prosecutor, stated that Daniel Robinson engaged with an individual he believed to be a 13-year-old girl named Libby on the children’s channel of the Chat Avenue website in June 2017, asserting that he was a 17-year-old male.
Mr. Yates stated, “The dialogue was sexually explicit, and he proposed a video call during which he intended to engage in masturbation.”
He proceeded to implore ‘Libby’ to expose her breasts and genitalia on Skype and to engage in self-stimulation. The Metropolitan Police sent his information to associates in Barnstaple, and his residence was subsequently searched.
An examination of his computer revealed four photographs of young girls in compromising positions, which he said were received following interactions in chat rooms.
Mr. Rupert Taylor, in defence, stated that there had been no physical interaction with any female and that the Skype chat did not include a genuine individual.
He stated that Daniel Robinson is currently residing with his family and employed as a head chef. The probation service has advised that he participate in a sex offender treatment program, which would not be accessible while incarcerated.
