A Horam Paedophile Christian Charles Turner has been sentenced to over three years in prison for sexual offences and voyeurism involving two young girls.

Christian Charles Turner, 30, of Little London Road, Horam, was sentenced at Hove Crown Court to three years and four months after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl.

He additionally entered a guilty plea to six charges of voyeurism concerning another girl, who was aged 11 and 12 at the time.

Christian Charles Turner acknowledged the creation of approximately 4,000 obscene photographs of children, all sourced from the internet and not thought to depict local minors, which were discovered on his two mobile phones during his detention last year.

Christian Charles Turner will be designated a lifelong registered sex offender, and the court has imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) that will significantly limit his access to minors and digital devices.

Detective Constable Sean Stapley of the East Sussex Safeguarding Investigations Unit stated: “Our investigation commenced when a family reached out to us last autumn regarding concerns their daughter expressed about Christian Charles Turner’s conduct.”

He had methodically ingratiated himself with the two families, earning their trust to the extent that he could perpetrate the acts.

“Due to their readiness to provide testimony, justice has been served, resulting in the exposure and punishment of a predatory child sex offender, with measures established for his management upon release.”
