Carl Lee St Helens SEX OFFENDER

A guy, Carl Lee, has been incarcerated following his conviction for disseminating sexual photographs online and engaging in affray. Carl Lee, residing on Liverpool Road in St Helens, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today, Wednesday, December 18, and entered a guilty plea for the leaking of private sexual pictures and affray.

The court was informed that last year, 44-year-old Carl Lee clandestinely recorded himself engaging in sexual intercourse with another individual without their consent. He subsequently disseminated the footage to another individual online.

In July of this year, officers received a complaint indicating that Carl Lee had disseminated video footage on social media in which he brandished knives and issued threats to kill. Officers arrived at Lee’s residence and, upon gaining admission, observed him with a knife, stabbing the door, and threatening to stab the officers or anyone who entered the room.

Carl Lee persistently issued threats to murder persons of the public from his bedroom window while brandishing two substantial kitchen knives. Law enforcement apprehended Lee following a prolonged confrontation lasting many hours.

He was subsequently apprehended and indicted for issuing threats to kill and engaging in affray. Carl Lee was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and received two restraining orders today.

Detective Inspector Steven O’Neill said: “Carl Lee’s violent behaviour displayed online and towards both members of the public and police caused significant distress and they feared for their safety. Our officers put their own lives and personal safety on the line every day in order to keep us all safe but they should never have to tolerate or accept physical violence when carrying out their duties.

“Carl Lee also shared sexual images online without the other person’s knowing that they had been filmed, and this caused them great distress when they were informed by someone he had shared it with. We hope that he will now reflect on the consequences of his utterly depraved and violent actions while serving his jail time.”

Detective Inspector O’Neill added: “Anyone that has been a victim of a sexual offence, is concerned for the safety of someone they know or suspects someone to be engaging in this criminal activity, should come forward and speak to us.

“We have a team of dedicated staff who will expertly and compassionately deal with your reports and we will do everything we can to bring offenders to justice. We take all such reports extremely seriously, and work with partner organisations such as Victim Care Support Service and RASA who are there to support victims of this crime.”
