Three Belgian Gang Paedophiles, Ziarmal Khan, Zeeshan Banghis and Saifur Rahman Ahmedzai, were apprehended in the UK prior to their conviction in Belgium for their participation in a significant human trafficking operation, resulting from a collaborative investigation by the National Crime Agency and Belgian authorities.
British residents Ziarmal Khan, 24, Zeeshan Banghis, 20, and Saifur Rahman Ahmedzai, 23, all Afghan nationals, were adjudicated in their absence in Belgium.
Belgian prosecutors assert that the gang of three facilitated the transportation of migrants from Afghanistan to Iran, Turkey, and the Balkans into Western Europe.
A considerable number would ultimately be transported aboard tiny vessels from northern France to the United Kingdom.
The paedophile group also perpetrated grave sexual offences on male migrant kids, including rape, which they recorded and utilised the tape to extort victims into illegal activities and more sexual exploitation.
Saifur Rahman Ahmedzai received a ten-year prison sentence, whereas Ziarmal Khan and Zeeshan Banghis were each sentenced to three years. Each of the three was penalised €3,000 (£2,488).
They now confront the prospect of being repatriated to Belgium to fulfil their sentences.
