Andrew Wesley paedophile child sex offender - Comberton

Comberton Paedophile Andrew Wesley has been sentenced to imprisonment for sexually assaulting two girls over a five-year duration more than 20 years prior.

Paedophile Andrew Wesley, 69, committed indecent assaults on the girls from 1998 to 2003 at several locations in the Cambridgeshire region.

Andrew Wesley’s misconduct was revealed in 2022 when the girls independently reported the historical events to the authorities.

Today (13 September 2024), at Peterborough Crown Court, Andrew Wesley, of The Valley, Comberton, Cambridgeshire.

Andrew Wesley was jailed for 12 years, having been found guilty by a jury at an earlier hearing of seven counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 13, two counts of indecent assault on a girl under 16 and gross indecency with a girl under 14.

Detective Constable Terry Bandoo, who investigated, said: “Andrew Wesley took advantage of two children in the most depraved and heinous way.

“Andrew Wesley abused them and robbed them of their innocent, carefree childhood.

“I commend the victims for their bravery, courage, and strength in coming forward. I know it has not been easy Throughout this investigation and court process.

“No sentence can ever undo the physical and mental trauma, but I hope this sentence brings them some form of comfort and shows how seriously we take these reports.”
